</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Hey everyone!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I usually try to come up with witty or fun titles for my posts but there isn't much you can do for "January Favourites" so, straight and to the point it is! I haven't done a favourites post in a long time but I decided I should, not just for you guys but for me to see what I'm really consistently using. As you might be able to tell some of these products are "well loved" and not in the best shape but hey, it means they are great and getting used! So, lets start:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

I was lucky enough to learn that I won<b><a href="http://www.torontobeautyreviews.com/"> Toronto Beauty Reviews (Elaine)</a></b> Korres Giveaway! I'm so thrilled, I love Korres and am so excited to start using more of their amazing products. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span></div>These are <b>Maybelline's Bouncy Blushes. </b>I picked up two shades I wouldn't normally have gotten. The last thing I need is another medium-pink blush! The first one is <b>Coffee Cake</b>. This is a gorgeous bronzy-peach that I wasn't sure about in the pan but adore once it's on the cheeks.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwGSMyX9cCZKsUMJ0zuUxlliT-zeaIwEIQrWX-1xRWMXjzgAiZUByaNSEo8RQxQBfkYAzxVqn8rQDBkGHIfawQEIbzEpnY2V8SM7_J-xTOy1cpu6H1jb6Txby00ri0mO0shK3Wq9rKhr2z/s1600/bouncy3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwGSMyX9cCZKsUMJ0zuUxlliT-zeaIwEIQrWX-1xRWMXjzgAiZUByaNSEo8RQxQBfkYAzxVqn8rQDBkGHIfawQEIbzEpnY2V8SM7_J-xTOy1cpu6H1jb6Txby00ri0mO0shK3Wq9rKhr2z/s320/bouncy3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</div><br />
Next up is <b>Hot Tamale</b>. A super bright red-pink with a bit of shimmer (both have a hint of shimmer) that definitely isn't as bright as it appears in the pan but still gives a gorgeous flush of colour.<br />
<br />
These blushes are the funniest things! I can't get over the texture of them they are super airy and light and don't feel greasy at all like some cream blushes can. The only thing I can even slightly compare this to is Maybelline's dream mousse blushes but they still don't really compare. You have to feel these for yourself to understand the full effect.<br />

I personally think they are adorable and have great feel and blendability with an extensive colour collection and a reasonable price. I love a cream blush and these just jumped to the top of my list! Especially since they have the staying power of a powder (thanks to the cream to powder formulation).<br />

Have you tried these funny little blushes? What did you think of them?<br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Hey everyone!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">If you follow my blog regularly you probably know that I've been trying to go more natural with all of or most of my skin care products. I started doing this around the end of December and have been very carefully picking and choosing new products to add to my routine. One of my very first purchases was this <b><a href="http://andalou.com/index.php/skin-care/toner/blossom-leaf-toning-refresher.html">Andalou Naturals Blossom & Leaf Toning Refresher</a>. </b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b><br />
</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I have had a hard time finding a toner I like <i>period</i> so I was super surprised to find this product first. I don't like my toners to have any alcohol or drying ingredients, I just want them to be that something extra for after I cleanse and when my skin is feeling parched. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This toner is completely natural and includes 84% certified organic ingredients. It includes aloe, fruit stem cells (which are common to all <b>Andalou Natural's </b>products), vitamin C, vitamin E, coQ10, vitamin B5 plus their BioActive 8 Berry Complex. On top of all that there is no harsh preservatives or ingredients that you can't pronounce.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This toner provides a refreshing feel and slight moisturization. If you had extremely oily skin I think this would be great to use as a lightweight moisturizer. I use it underneath all of my other skin care products and I have never been happier with a toner! The smell is pretty floral but I've grown to love it. I'm not a huge fan of spray on toners but I am getting used to them and you could always unscrew the cap and use this with a cotton pad if you wanted. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Overall, I don't think I'll ever be without this product again! Its effective, all natural and it's affordable. Their other products are just as amazing! Right now I only own one other mask but I'm planning on purchasing more of their products very soon. I just spotted them at London Drugs this afternoon so now I have another place to get them!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

Hey everyone,<br />
I'm such a late night poster, I don't know why. I have plenty of time to do it throughout the day but I usually just end up taking and editing pictures and then <i>finally</i> getting to actually putting them into a post by around 10pm! Oh, well at least its up!<br />
<br />
Tonight I'm sharing with you one of my new favourite items! I recently won a gift box from Vasanti and Rexall and I have to say I was thrilled to see this in there! I had been eyeing up <b><a href="http://vasanticosmetics.com/ca/brighten-up-1/brighten-up-enzymatic-face-treatment-exfoliator.html">Vasanti's Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvinator</a></b> for a while (even picked it up off the shelf once or twice) but had yet to buy it.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_DKnTOlVlN4ydYJNpWWuIESCHLQ0tiWR810lZM6Al2VYyCH3vLQaLGw4gGuqXDt1CZfUUb3pzlt5dVW6YHoneX5TnbXwF9xv_mQZGkk2E2W-kbwElCouzV2606b_N6b06vdgPiSt_DmTH/s1600/brighten2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_DKnTOlVlN4ydYJNpWWuIESCHLQ0tiWR810lZM6Al2VYyCH3vLQaLGw4gGuqXDt1CZfUUb3pzlt5dVW6YHoneX5TnbXwF9xv_mQZGkk2E2W-kbwElCouzV2606b_N6b06vdgPiSt_DmTH/s320/brighten2.jpg" width="296" /></a></div><br />
This is, as the name may suggest, an exfoliator/scrub. This is not <i>just</i> a scrub though, oh no! Not only does this contain 25% dermatologist grade micro-crystals for dramatic yet gentle exfoliation but also powerful papaya enzymes for added chemical exfoliation. It also contains coconut, aloe vera and panthenol in order to keep your skin feeling hydrated even after you're finished.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5DodwSdcu2g9J6WxhjwhGmekd4_5NRoLSpRuXc7eclTgj4ZDRY55EpYApHHzDUYjhtOhmI5LE-ZNq7qQVBiK7KxfGoGjGL-fJc_dV9eRD-ppJPaALlvW6RWPT6I-42D8LirNnX0-mYMRT/s1600/brighten3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5DodwSdcu2g9J6WxhjwhGmekd4_5NRoLSpRuXc7eclTgj4ZDRY55EpYApHHzDUYjhtOhmI5LE-ZNq7qQVBiK7KxfGoGjGL-fJc_dV9eRD-ppJPaALlvW6RWPT6I-42D8LirNnX0-mYMRT/s320/brighten3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
The texture of this is really interesting. It's almost mousse-like in consistency and you can really feel all the particles - but they are tiny!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiN6ZbfBD8oPRLxGChJVz8p3X88ajoGDe2iqcTw7uJKOheBGB0VQWvBjWzsnun89562CJpJGEo6OEiFgEBaU9sJDo9-HQjbO6AKpO6uhfeWgx0dp4vRWww9oRnUsN4GFQST6wTgdBPa_es/s1600/DSC02840.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiN6ZbfBD8oPRLxGChJVz8p3X88ajoGDe2iqcTw7uJKOheBGB0VQWvBjWzsnun89562CJpJGEo6OEiFgEBaU9sJDo9-HQjbO6AKpO6uhfeWgx0dp4vRWww9oRnUsN4GFQST6wTgdBPa_es/s320/DSC02840.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
This exfoliator is creamy (but not greasy at all), which I appreciate in a scrub as sometimes my skin can wind up dry after using them. I'm always pretty leery when I try a new scrub as my skin is easily sensitized and can wind up red and irritated for days, so although I was excited to use this, I was also scared. To my surprise, even with the high amount of micro-crystals, this exfoliator is extremely gentle. I never end up red or irritated and my skin feels smoother than anything else after using it. If you have been following me for a while you may remember my <b><a href="http://www.cosmeticallycurious.ca/2011/01/colbert-md-intensify-facial-discs.html">Colbert M.D. post</a></b> where I raved about their microdermabrasion pads, I thought I would never find anything to replace them (too expensive to repurchase) but I finally have!<br />
<br />
Not only do I notice my skin feels smoother but it also feels lightly hydrated and any product I put on afterwards is instantly absorbed! I only use this once a week (maybe twice if I forget to take my makeup off one night and I'm in need of a deep cleaning) and it keeps me smooth until the next week.<br />
<br />
If you're looking for an outstanding exfoliant this is it! You only need a pea-sized amount as well so it will last you forever - a little really does go a long way.<br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Evening everyone!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I thought I'd share with you one of my recently re-found loves today. The other day my boyfriend asked me for a lip balm to use, so off to my drawer of lip products I went. While looking for something unscented & clear for him to use I came across this little tube of loveliness that I had forgotten about - well actually I came across two.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">A while back, <b><a href="http://www.yestocarrots.com/">Yes To Carrots</a> </b>was nice enough to send me a package of products for review. They were incredibly generous sending me all the flavours of their lip butters and tinted lip balms along with a ton of other skin care products. I immediately liked these lip butters but for some reason they slowly moved to the back of my collection. These butters come in <b>Mint, Berry, Carrot, Melon and Citrus</b> but I gave away Melon, Citrus and Mint as stocking stuffers and Berry got stolen by my boyfriend and now permanently lives in his pocket. So, I'm left with Carrot, which was actually my favourite to begin with!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9hnz6OOr_MHenz-coqDRMX34kcr-GYUCA906q9d8UqBezXiVFSvymDC9GIYwpBOy4QHVzkkfFTf-8UpAaCPXgdBMc-EZD5W6eaFJUAfXohgtx2I4H75ZSE2W2AafH0CJ_uxeMbem1ya0c/s1600/Carrot2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9hnz6OOr_MHenz-coqDRMX34kcr-GYUCA906q9d8UqBezXiVFSvymDC9GIYwpBOy4QHVzkkfFTf-8UpAaCPXgdBMc-EZD5W6eaFJUAfXohgtx2I4H75ZSE2W2AafH0CJ_uxeMbem1ya0c/s320/Carrot2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I usually don't expect lip balms in stick form to be as moisturizing as their counterparts in pot form but I was pleasantly surprised in this case. Oh, and the Carrot flavour doesn't smell at all like carrot, it's pretty much unscented. These balms contain a massive amount of moisturizing and soothing ingredients including: Coconut oil, Olive Oil, Beeswax, Jojoba, Sunflower, Shea butter and lots of fruit and vegetable extracts. These make your lips feel super smooth, moisturized and not heavy or waxy. Not to mention these are 95% Natural and USDA Certified Organic which is especially important for something you are most likely going to eat.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">My only problem with these little guys is I have yet to find them for retail anywhere in Canada. If you know where they sell these please let me know!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b><u>Summary</u></b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b>Yes To Carrots Lip Butter - Carrot</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b>$12.99 for 5 (Carrot, Melon, Berry, Citrus and Mint)</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b>Available at: <a href="http://www.yestocarrots.com/product/lip-butter--set-of-5?product_id=1013">Yes to Carrots</a> & Drugstores (US)</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Hey all!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">So lately these coloured balms are popping up everywhere. Maybelline, Revlon, L'Oreal and many others. I've tried the aforementioned three and have to say only one really convinced me it was a great conditioning balm!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This is <b>L'Oreal's Colour Riche Balm in Pink Satin. </b>I found myself wondering what the differences between all these balms were but there are actually many! Revlon's comes in a huge variety of shades, but didn't add enough moisture for me, it was more like a sheer lipstick. Maybelline's comes in few shades and are extremely sheer and L'Oreal comes in a mid range of shades, provides great moisture and a little bit of shimmer. I feel like I'm channeling Goldilocks here "Maybelline was too sheer, Revlon was too pigmented and L'Oreal was juuuusssstttt right" haha.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSQfxm55Zm7smYpYE3O-4laA3TBq2dp35GSjN1zqor4iGxJAuGEdfbjsaPfMIsEZ5qCXhI_9KX_VGjNwAGB-OYNtuGhjhk4NgZmlrjXS3j_nn62i0K-ldJ1PA7xJl26DCMewBRG_ANY92M/s1600/L%2527Oreal2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSQfxm55Zm7smYpYE3O-4laA3TBq2dp35GSjN1zqor4iGxJAuGEdfbjsaPfMIsEZ5qCXhI_9KX_VGjNwAGB-OYNtuGhjhk4NgZmlrjXS3j_nn62i0K-ldJ1PA7xJl26DCMewBRG_ANY92M/s320/L%2527Oreal2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">As I mentioned, I picked this up in the shade <b>Pink Satin</b> which was sold out at 3 stores before I could find this one! This is the lightest of the shades and is a very light but very sheer pink with shimmer.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I love the packaging of this balm, its luxurious and has co-ordinating coloured caps to the product inside to make it easy to find a certain colour in your hand bag or drawer. Another added bonus? SPF 15, which I'm always looking for in my lip balms and lip colours. My lips tend to sunburn very easily even in the winter so I need SPF!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_FM64J2o_zNjio38v8r0GwLhswFhV78xgO_84yN2sM5v20X5zUhVPOesA04K1uMBsOg_pM6FjODI-em8sQL1EsbmH_usSJZPW-FjtOd6vQQHhSug72ZwTYjJT9YM50InWq-XlmjahrSKh/s1600/L%2527Oreal5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_FM64J2o_zNjio38v8r0GwLhswFhV78xgO_84yN2sM5v20X5zUhVPOesA04K1uMBsOg_pM6FjODI-em8sQL1EsbmH_usSJZPW-FjtOd6vQQHhSug72ZwTYjJT9YM50InWq-XlmjahrSKh/s320/L%2527Oreal5.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">As for pricing, Maybelline is the cheapest version of these tinted drugstore balms, with L'Oreal coming in second and Revlon being most expensive (although prices vary wildly so make sure you shop around!). Of the three I found L'Oreal's to give the most moisture and make my lips feel the most comfortable, while providing shine and a hint of colour!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGfEiAZP08Fcj7zyd0FhCBKthSLGZ5-CTMCNGXhv4kmcia1_jKDa22MIYRP6ESQbPUydrdeQDH_hM-cx90iC0aicakSiLSo-b3MzAhS7rao2YJwwqJpkoNjjMp4yM_cvSbbuCdN7Ol9Ltt/s1600/L%2527Oreal6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGfEiAZP08Fcj7zyd0FhCBKthSLGZ5-CTMCNGXhv4kmcia1_jKDa22MIYRP6ESQbPUydrdeQDH_hM-cx90iC0aicakSiLSo-b3MzAhS7rao2YJwwqJpkoNjjMp4yM_cvSbbuCdN7Ol9Ltt/s320/L%2527Oreal6.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">As you can tell I didn't "haul" any of these because I really wanted to find which one worked for me. I'm glad at least one of them did, being the L'Oreal Colour Riche Balm and I think I'm going to have to pick up a few more colours! Have you tried any of these drugstore coloured balms? Which one was your favourite?</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Hey everyone!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Yesterday I was finally able to get to the post office to pick up my very first <a href="http://www.glymm.com/share/shaylee.field">Glymm Box</a>! Being an incredibly impatient person, I had already peeked around the blog world and found out what was in this months box (bad!) and I was really excited to get my hands on it!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This adorable light pink box came packaged in a matching coloured shipping box (what a cute touch!) so you know right away where its from! To be honest, I wanted to wait and take pictures while I was opening the box but I ended up opening it right in the parking lot in my car haha! Here is what I found:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVmuWVUTygwjXKCiCyGdUiow_cudIIemgvEIff3q_5qrXRsgBgX0VR-9z9QBHgR_6wsplu-SaxP3ecqeYgkSBbIK3Pu-5FPPIWcZHEkK5Q7jvYTCue7F1mVXmJFSGcN-kYs1Eh0CYPNOeb/s1600/Glymm2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="305" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVmuWVUTygwjXKCiCyGdUiow_cudIIemgvEIff3q_5qrXRsgBgX0VR-9z9QBHgR_6wsplu-SaxP3ecqeYgkSBbIK3Pu-5FPPIWcZHEkK5Q7jvYTCue7F1mVXmJFSGcN-kYs1Eh0CYPNOeb/s320/Glymm2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">These boxes are beautifully wrapped, it's like receiving a present in the mail! I always appreciate the small touches that companies include such as the embellished ribbon and lots of information about the included products.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHABCoUvxwl-v6iq-ckfAuPCeXLjl73PpoPIA_8epJWNTG3b087Ra_s9mskkJnjQmGeEA1wT8JjE0DLnLeHJPNLnR5ITodZmmO4J3FVkAhKdBHldLjLg7XvSz0JvcSZGpOne4OTtKWTEmD/s1600/Glymm3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHABCoUvxwl-v6iq-ckfAuPCeXLjl73PpoPIA_8epJWNTG3b087Ra_s9mskkJnjQmGeEA1wT8JjE0DLnLeHJPNLnR5ITodZmmO4J3FVkAhKdBHldLjLg7XvSz0JvcSZGpOne4OTtKWTEmD/s320/Glymm3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Glymm includes a pamphlet describing all the products & their "full sized" price. I think this is a great touch because whenever I get a sample of something I want to know how much it will cost to get a full size and base my review and consideration of the product on that (there's nothing worse than falling in love with a product you can never afford the full size of!). </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjMqNV_xqZ7g7R7yQHFSseIJ-6V5MD1SyzAgmg2NteeBPY6gkAkHPNiGIL3OIaOgBtLxReQVKvC9eyT8OTwDLe3n5xisPOInKxVqCsycCLofmqy-f29u-T6pGm57iTL-thL1l_4pqIs1dh/s1600/Glymm4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjMqNV_xqZ7g7R7yQHFSseIJ-6V5MD1SyzAgmg2NteeBPY6gkAkHPNiGIL3OIaOgBtLxReQVKvC9eyT8OTwDLe3n5xisPOInKxVqCsycCLofmqy-f29u-T6pGm57iTL-thL1l_4pqIs1dh/s320/Glymm4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">My first <a href="http://www.glymm.com/share/shaylee.field">Glymm box</a> inluded:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b>Burt's Bees Milk & Honey body lotion </b>(two sample sachets)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b>Vasanti Brighten Up! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I am super excited to try this <b>Burt's Bees Milk & Honey Body Lotion!</b> I've eyed this up a few times while shopping but never end up purchasing it. I've heard really good things about it and I love that it's all natural. I used to have another Milk & Honey body lotion that was discontinued so hopefully this can take its place.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihw6BL2SkWqnMwwGNhJxer5Cl_1KhNHlBnZyvGGyEclM2ZXoysu4Tekbc3wfLJZV49LgZB11bY9DYMbJYNOhnqTdKEHQM_9g228-gdKnqousdXySWid8jTPTkc1zCXB0Wo5k_WAygcGggi/s1600/Glymm6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihw6BL2SkWqnMwwGNhJxer5Cl_1KhNHlBnZyvGGyEclM2ZXoysu4Tekbc3wfLJZV49LgZB11bY9DYMbJYNOhnqTdKEHQM_9g228-gdKnqousdXySWid8jTPTkc1zCXB0Wo5k_WAygcGggi/s320/Glymm6.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Now I already know I love this product as I own the full size tube! This is <b>Vasanti's Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator. </b>I'm happy to have this as a travel size/back up though and I'm very excited other Glymm girls will get a chance to try this amazing exfoliator!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVwxedhjn9dEAhMEMryhA5Y-4fC-tVDDjNJM3b6ysH7DysqW2TD7DLN4o4702mC7M3CbyTpdCCHR87AzZ4X6ggGh6wZPHtZcjQBSA9Rykoc4chce2mKIffygznApAuY80w0xftP2WG0GeM/s1600/glymm7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVwxedhjn9dEAhMEMryhA5Y-4fC-tVDDjNJM3b6ysH7DysqW2TD7DLN4o4702mC7M3CbyTpdCCHR87AzZ4X6ggGh6wZPHtZcjQBSA9Rykoc4chce2mKIffygznApAuY80w0xftP2WG0GeM/s320/glymm7.jpg" width="239" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I <i>love</i> makeup removing towelettes. These <b>towelettes by Kaia </b>are going to be great because I'm usually extremely tired or lazy by the time I go to bed so having a packaged of these on my bedside table is a must! I'm also always looking for natural alternatives so I'm thrilled to try these out! I really hope I like them and if I do will definitely purchase the full size!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhw3J_ICG-4_sF8ObkW2TTFlCIP7bcBMI1VKrKLdITz2v0JlIrn9bWHmnS_RuRRmUb8972zNQnKuLZpw89p5nu_XkUtNM2gJW3R9CGz8BVxVm6DJgMru8IM1tZIvfyteOOtfoMr5Kez-ZkR/s1600/Glymm8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhw3J_ICG-4_sF8ObkW2TTFlCIP7bcBMI1VKrKLdITz2v0JlIrn9bWHmnS_RuRRmUb8972zNQnKuLZpw89p5nu_XkUtNM2gJW3R9CGz8BVxVm6DJgMru8IM1tZIvfyteOOtfoMr5Kez-ZkR/s320/Glymm8.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">It's funny that this was included in my <b><a href="http://www.glymm.com/share/shaylee.field">Glymm box</a></b> because the day before I was just thinking, "I'm out of brow gel, I need to buy some more," then there it was! I've never tried any of Anastasia products and I use brow gel everyday so I'm excited to be able to try this <b>Brow Gel by Anastasia</b>. And with the amount of brow gel you use on a daily basis, this should last a long time!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhPXPf6waBp3d1JnTOfh5rref7VqR-kbYLgYLrsXeGHfYGXNDOBPU_Mwm2ADdV6WL_FmvsssZAq9TsE9PaoEtbhwbJ7Vg3zned1PVFpllFuiBOqJkfdVgEgfUm4nMHCuSFpavlQ34_rtfh/s1600/Glymm9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhPXPf6waBp3d1JnTOfh5rref7VqR-kbYLgYLrsXeGHfYGXNDOBPU_Mwm2ADdV6WL_FmvsssZAq9TsE9PaoEtbhwbJ7Vg3zned1PVFpllFuiBOqJkfdVgEgfUm4nMHCuSFpavlQ34_rtfh/s320/Glymm9.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Last but <i>certainly</i> not least is a <b><u>full sized</u></b> <b>Cargo Eye Pencil</b> in black! When I first saw this in the box I expected it to be some crazy colour that I wouldn't get much wear out of but I was so happy when I saw it was black! Who doesn't need (or want to try) a new black eyeliner? Since I use one everyday I always welcome another one!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhci7bpxph0aNx67mmi5uZSSm9BfXUXqsct_ALFIWE-YJt8Q-Rq_PxWZO3cKtrtwpUwRPq48Xe-uzIeCgglaShMlDxYRas2Kb2VAO8ZYp9H-pTCghnjAEqMW4fE6FDx8Ydcpa-mkdwSrBiG/s1600/Glymm11.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhci7bpxph0aNx67mmi5uZSSm9BfXUXqsct_ALFIWE-YJt8Q-Rq_PxWZO3cKtrtwpUwRPq48Xe-uzIeCgglaShMlDxYRas2Kb2VAO8ZYp9H-pTCghnjAEqMW4fE6FDx8Ydcpa-mkdwSrBiG/s320/Glymm11.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This is a pencil that needs sharpening (hopefully it won't be one that breaks every time you try) and has quite a lot of product. I've been happy with my other Cargo purchases in the past so hopefully this will live up to my expectations!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgutnI3YZHJHIo2kQH523twBsKStcEc8v0UhYPsqSEh1rihn0kU0KJ9TsarSxSltaVZGXlAsKNzPiK9dzuw0j72pADBJG36zETSGm4rWoM6VNd4nDP2JezZVYnH89e860tY0UGLDcOywxpP/s1600/Glymm12.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgutnI3YZHJHIo2kQH523twBsKStcEc8v0UhYPsqSEh1rihn0kU0KJ9TsarSxSltaVZGXlAsKNzPiK9dzuw0j72pADBJG36zETSGm4rWoM6VNd4nDP2JezZVYnH89e860tY0UGLDcOywxpP/s320/Glymm12.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This pencil glides on super easily and keeps a sharp point which is great for thin lines. It isn't an intense black but it will be great for a softer black eye with light definition. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Overall, I love my first <b><a href="http://www.glymm.com/share/shaylee.field">Glymm box</a></b>! I can't wait for the next one and it is definitely worth the money. The full sized Cargo Pencil alone is worth $16! Do you subscribe to any monthly sample boxes? If so which ones?</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">Good morning everyone!</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">It is a glorious wintery day out there - if by glorious you think of -15<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #222222; line-height: 16px;">°C with a wind chill of -20</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #222222; line-height: 16px;">°C and a winter storm warning for 10-15 centimetres of snow and a car that won't start no matter how many times you jump it... Anyway back on track! Today I have a review of a lip product, namely <b>Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake.</b> I know many beauty bloggers hauled this product, picking up on every shade, believe me I was tempted but I just don't trust lip products because I rarely, <i>rarely</i> love them. So, I decided to pick up just one and test it out.</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 16px;"><br />
</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaXXwEjn9XAatBePgPqFqWUqMNF9pnqZUFMnhDB9FHYmewffjEVEgrxXBHc_QbFr3f-PyDFINkxWmw0-JXSZ_pxR4zlOqdMqfyoowy6X4ZFw8SmacEvRcA49iOdweUORcUVakDLXMG4skO/s1600/Rev2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaXXwEjn9XAatBePgPqFqWUqMNF9pnqZUFMnhDB9FHYmewffjEVEgrxXBHc_QbFr3f-PyDFINkxWmw0-JXSZ_pxR4zlOqdMqfyoowy6X4ZFw8SmacEvRcA49iOdweUORcUVakDLXMG4skO/s320/Rev2.jpg" width="241" /></span></a></div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 16px;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 16px;">First off, I love the packaging. Very luxe & expensive looking with the signature "quilted" case of Colorburst products. The cap stays on tightly (as to not fall off in your purse) and the caps give a fairly accurate description of what colour is inside. If you are someone who has many of these it would make it super easy to find the shade you were looking for! I also like the angled tip, as it makes for much easier application, especially in a rear view mirror (not while driving I promise!).</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 16px;"><br />
</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhumMUQSxiLixZdIsZzT6kz9_z4Kj7BGIkWKAyCeKx3RUDtQ5uuVs48uCwiBBiT3d7l7E9LnmvD_GKdE3M7L9dmX351uNdSAB3ZsEwsrBv1-pz3qUOcH4EDUOzDa843hvRrgLRy6Vw05E5R/s1600/Rev3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhumMUQSxiLixZdIsZzT6kz9_z4Kj7BGIkWKAyCeKx3RUDtQ5uuVs48uCwiBBiT3d7l7E9LnmvD_GKdE3M7L9dmX351uNdSAB3ZsEwsrBv1-pz3qUOcH4EDUOzDa843hvRrgLRy6Vw05E5R/s320/Rev3.jpg" width="320" /></span></a></div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 16px;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 16px;">I selected <b>Strawberry Shortcake </b>because of its neutral, medium pink. I figured it would be great for everyday wear and didn't want to select anything darker as I didn't know what the pigmentation pay off would be like. This one has a hint of shimmer in it but definitely nothing noticeable on the lips. You can also tell which shades have shimmer by the cap - ones with shimmer will have, you guessed it, shimmer in the lid!</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 16px;"><br />
</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhltToJD_fCXSZfKbyDGgP9XzTnJBY9j-vrE_kLxPNSfC1MJYJSQEhqu6wYj_f5-lV8RdFb9buh1s_We64LrYlkdE7hcQ4oTcjV7FNTEXgM7Wm4fZpOe-KwJDU2I_KMwgSlYqRt8fiBQ0fc/s1600/Rev4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhltToJD_fCXSZfKbyDGgP9XzTnJBY9j-vrE_kLxPNSfC1MJYJSQEhqu6wYj_f5-lV8RdFb9buh1s_We64LrYlkdE7hcQ4oTcjV7FNTEXgM7Wm4fZpOe-KwJDU2I_KMwgSlYqRt8fiBQ0fc/s320/Rev4.jpg" width="320" /></span></a></div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 16px;">The pigmentation pay off is actually a lot more than I expected! I would say these are much more close to a moisturizing lipstick than a tinted lip balm. I love the colour of this one once applied, it's a really flattering pink that I think most skin tones could wear. If you were to only pick up on one of these I think this would be a good option.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 16px;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 16px;">Now for my personal experience with the product. I expected more. These aren't very moisturizing, at least not for me, and I will definitely require a balm underneath when I wear this. Having said that, I do like them as a moisturizing lipstick and will definitely wear it, it just wasn't what I expected. I wanted a super rich balm with just a hint of colour and that isn't what I got. The term "lip butter" makes me think of my Korres Lip Butter (which is amazing) and I definitely prefer those for a tinted lip balm. If you want a moisturizing lipstick or your lips don't need a lot of hydration I would definitely pick up on this. I don't by any means not like the product it just wasn't what I had anticipated. I may even buy another one because when I do wear lipstick I like it to be sheer and moisturizing!</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit; line-height: 16px;"><br />

Good morning everyone!<br />
This Vasanti kick I've been on has been a tough one to break. With all the great products I've won and their quality blowing me away I've got to share them with all of you! So, as you may have heard I won a prize pack from Vasanti over Christmas that included their <b><a href="http://www.cosmeticallycurious.ca/2012/01/meet-my-latin-lover.html">Brazilian Bronzer</a>, <a href="http://www.cosmeticallycurious.ca/2012/01/im-going-on-trip-to-vasantis-north-sea.html">Vitamin E infused Lip Shine</a>, this eyeshadow duo and their Brighten Up! Enzymatic Microdermabrasion. </b><br />
<b><br />
</b><br />
To be completely honest with you all, I wasn't jumping with joy to open their <b><a href="http://vasanticosmetics.com/ca/eye-products/silky-eyeshadow-duo.html">Silky Eyeshadow Duo</a></b>. I own about a million and never use any (I generally stick to black eyeliner & mascara for everyday) so this was the product I was least enthused about.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaU9k1FE0bH4RdanUwdOuqTPdAivLvC8xZwpr8S5bp08b7l8fSkEnBMafjS2fEx-frfXPs6ghJBzim_PTPMdUYt875d5ykazoNdaRLN1IsJMwVlHZ_VBYxRNU2MESLr0lqE9V9ibhv7ocD/s1600/VasE2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="222" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaU9k1FE0bH4RdanUwdOuqTPdAivLvC8xZwpr8S5bp08b7l8fSkEnBMafjS2fEx-frfXPs6ghJBzim_PTPMdUYt875d5ykazoNdaRLN1IsJMwVlHZ_VBYxRNU2MESLr0lqE9V9ibhv7ocD/s320/VasE2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
I opened it last expecting some strange colours that I would never wear like bright blue & green or pink & purple - what colour would a Colosseum be anyway? Well, after opening the box I was initially pleasantly surprised with the gorgeous packaging these eyeshadows come in.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJkNVpXzqV9vfJIWs5O1cLfbNEvaatDR-AeJxtzDXxUeHlVQPMfh5cJPf-Wtxa6Nx60Ap_J0A95lnx0UIPiWnAWZHkL_A4UspsxyB8Unw9AgZhbb-i1O5v2ItKNPjnrGQkec9flgFDwzqg/s1600/VasE3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="254" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJkNVpXzqV9vfJIWs5O1cLfbNEvaatDR-AeJxtzDXxUeHlVQPMfh5cJPf-Wtxa6Nx60Ap_J0A95lnx0UIPiWnAWZHkL_A4UspsxyB8Unw9AgZhbb-i1O5v2ItKNPjnrGQkec9flgFDwzqg/s320/VasE3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
A gorgeous, sturdy silver case with a flip top lid? How vanity worthy! I want a collection of these just for display purposes alone. I don't want to put this in with my other eyeshadows in fear of it becoming scratched or damaged. I think it's already earned a "stay out" spot.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwkzyIABz6QfNNQZQ3SzQjW0fMvZmKNi5ZEz15Vvk15SYVZYvVtyHyXWBzPkv3elpTf8s5RUpKTF9Yz7odR7h1PbAfqjblZoOHAj02Nudx46xrURguuhFYxSsdMypsZn4354JnAJ7oCmXq/s1600/VasE4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwkzyIABz6QfNNQZQ3SzQjW0fMvZmKNi5ZEz15Vvk15SYVZYvVtyHyXWBzPkv3elpTf8s5RUpKTF9Yz7odR7h1PbAfqjblZoOHAj02Nudx46xrURguuhFYxSsdMypsZn4354JnAJ7oCmXq/s320/VasE4.jpg" width="205" /></a></div><br />
AND not only is the outside gorgeous but there is a large mirror inside paired with a couple of amazingly shimmery and soft eyeshadows. I was thrilled to see these shades as I'm always looking for a delicate neutral eye that I can do everyday or a shimmer shadow to add to my basic black eyeliner look.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhg8yVbKKndv1tU8v_1NBIAk-NBfwmzULJjPg1_jIx70yIcZKovcyvm8uO_c0UtY8b2kCO6zU2p2hbILQzYdYvJQjzpn277iUEtg-OwWyLJEdnKpr3Fn-Atqbb8gZmKd5yjRaPBIBllPdNG/s1600/VasE5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhg8yVbKKndv1tU8v_1NBIAk-NBfwmzULJjPg1_jIx70yIcZKovcyvm8uO_c0UtY8b2kCO6zU2p2hbILQzYdYvJQjzpn277iUEtg-OwWyLJEdnKpr3Fn-Atqbb8gZmKd5yjRaPBIBllPdNG/s320/VasE5.jpg" width="239" /></a></div><br />
So to answer my own question I guess the Colosseum is a mixture of golden flecked ivory and shimmering rose gold? All I know is if it looks as good as these shadows, I want to see it! Could there be a better neutral pair?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgM32bSWJ9iamvMlY3p5f00J4AEiFElZgjV9yoAUX090Jf9bNykR8vtxaEXhdT0NOHtVkHRGv-bmvTeJGkimvvaIbKts5aj27e8scRR4IUW9SViWOtjVnDuY445MJo57_FN_vxLxPsXTeLU/s1600/VasE7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="265" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgM32bSWJ9iamvMlY3p5f00J4AEiFElZgjV9yoAUX090Jf9bNykR8vtxaEXhdT0NOHtVkHRGv-bmvTeJGkimvvaIbKts5aj27e8scRR4IUW9SViWOtjVnDuY445MJo57_FN_vxLxPsXTeLU/s320/VasE7.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
Now, I will say these shadows aren't incredibly pigmented, but they also probably shouldn't be. I see them as more "enhancing" shades than stand out shades. Something for the brow bone or a sheer wash of colour. They are shimmery without being over the top and do stay true to the colours in the pan. They are <i>incredibly </i>soft and wear well throughout the day without creasing (I use an eyeshadow base, usually NYX). I use the rose gold shade all over my lid then the ivory shade on the brow bone and tear duct. The rose shade gives a warmth to the eye and a little depth, while the ivory makes everything it touches stand out.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEg4p_VAKdHkXgqeEkJwCSKSJmVFv7ZYqdBYKYm-Q32TWAklSN1ZnDGVxdPJ3MODN48wlDNQW2FdIaEYvPMNAAMlW3inyb3VIgWe7cbHRN3POfaESUC0Kblh58ExepXue-6OFuuYsL5lqt/s1600/VasE6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEg4p_VAKdHkXgqeEkJwCSKSJmVFv7ZYqdBYKYm-Q32TWAklSN1ZnDGVxdPJ3MODN48wlDNQW2FdIaEYvPMNAAMlW3inyb3VIgWe7cbHRN3POfaESUC0Kblh58ExepXue-6OFuuYsL5lqt/s320/VasE6.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
As you can see, once again, this whole kit is super co-ordinating. All the colours I received are amazing for creating a soft, bronzy, glowing look without being overly done. All together these look pretty great (will have to do a FOTD). I'm looking to pick up some more of these shadows, I think they may make it into my everyday routine - I know this one already has! I haven't stopped wearing it since the day I got it. It adds a little something extra to my basic eye and also adds a little light. My next choice is definitely <b><a href="http://vasanticosmetics.com/ca/eye-products/silky-eyeshadow-duo/eiffel-silky-eyeshadow-duo.html">Eiffel Tower</a> </b>- two gorgeous matte shades.<br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I must be honest, I'm very picky about my lip glosses. I hate the feeling of having sticky, heavy or tacky "goop" on my lips, mostly because my long hair always gets stuck in it and partially because it makes me lick my lips and rub them together incessantly. Needless to say many lip glosses fall into the category of sticky and thick so I was skeptical about trying this gloss.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdweOIoUkrGJaHghgEpC7SBDVp7Gmpp11YWDHGFdNthXrQ7ufuEJfBYVBfJ3zdyAkIKkiToFgpRO0yaWwKkdebq7rnI_FzReB-p-wAHkmuPFUijB61xOiJOY0LS5UEU1MJnsl-AB2nCu_N/s1600/VasL3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="172" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdweOIoUkrGJaHghgEpC7SBDVp7Gmpp11YWDHGFdNthXrQ7ufuEJfBYVBfJ3zdyAkIKkiToFgpRO0yaWwKkdebq7rnI_FzReB-p-wAHkmuPFUijB61xOiJOY0LS5UEU1MJnsl-AB2nCu_N/s320/VasL3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I was also taken aback by the colour when I pulled the gloss from the box. I thought, "A shimmering nude, brown? I don't know about this." Being so pale it's really easy for a colour like this to wash me of any colour I may have had. Of course I instantly applied this in my rear view mirror while leaving Rexall because, well, don't we all?</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVuDD0hhJ8HL3xtBbaV59TVZ863NH0P-xO8DKmnq5moI0iFf_AW-8z-C8k3oJnTP9lEHF4tdAI5DCcD2czYyIukpwKQRzNndiHfM-yx-ReksRGUfZJLzplQf51A5fYW7A2xSo-OqNIuxJK/s1600/VasL4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="234" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVuDD0hhJ8HL3xtBbaV59TVZ863NH0P-xO8DKmnq5moI0iFf_AW-8z-C8k3oJnTP9lEHF4tdAI5DCcD2czYyIukpwKQRzNndiHfM-yx-ReksRGUfZJLzplQf51A5fYW7A2xSo-OqNIuxJK/s320/VasL4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This gloss comes with a doe-foot applicator (which I prefer to brushes, less messy in my opinion) that really grabs a lot of product, making "double dipping" not necessary. The gloss also looked a lot lighter on the wand than it did in the tube, which made me a little less uneasy. I slathered it on my lips and stared in my rear view mirror with a grin on my face. To my surprise this gloss wasn't sticky or tacky but smooth and light feeling! The colour was also very sheer so it gave me a great glossy shimmer and a touch of nude without being over powering or washing me out!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAkyU8OAvGaTKwFz3W10Z8a1cPsmlPrGwOi5zcL-l6mW9KZLaLLAI1y9draNBCYPRNXPNJa4feQvDkbeP74xlHenkZmoXpk6FXe03U3d8d_b58gnRkN4FIR2aTsYsHEHzezDqWrs_FxFLG/s1600/VasL5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAkyU8OAvGaTKwFz3W10Z8a1cPsmlPrGwOi5zcL-l6mW9KZLaLLAI1y9draNBCYPRNXPNJa4feQvDkbeP74xlHenkZmoXpk6FXe03U3d8d_b58gnRkN4FIR2aTsYsHEHzezDqWrs_FxFLG/s320/VasL5.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I actually have to say I love this gloss. After being disappointed by so many others I'm so pleased I found a good one! And the colour is great and since it is sheer, would work on any skin tone for a glossy shine or as a finishing touch over a nude lipstick. As you can see, it goes great with their <a href="http://www.cosmeticallycurious.ca/2012/01/meet-my-latin-lover.html"><b>Brazilian Bronzer</b> </a>(swatched below) for a beachy, tanned goddess look. Not only are these glosses great in colour and texture but they are loaded with Vitamin E and other antioxidants to keep your lips protected.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I would highly recommend these glosses if you don't like sticky and thick but want a great sheer wash of colour. I definitely want to try this gloss in more shades and will be picking some up soon, I'm thinking I want to try <a href="http://vasanticosmetics.com/ca/lip-products/vitamin-e-infused-lipshine/caspian-vitamin-e-infused-lipshine.html">Caspian Sea</a> and <a href="http://vasanticosmetics.com/ca/lip-products/vitamin-e-infused-lipshine/java-sea-vitamin-e-infused-lipshine.html">Java Sea</a> next, what do you think?</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b>Thank you Vasanti for making me believe in lip gloss again!</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I bet you thought this post was going to be about a tall, dark and gorgeously tanned man - unfortunately it is not, but I think I have the next best thing! This is <b><a href="http://vasanticosmetics.com/ca/face-products/brazilian-mineral-bronzer/brazilian-bronzer-brightening-mineral-bronzer.html">Vasanti's Brazilian Bronzer</a></b>. Just before Christmas I was lucky enough to win a giveaway at my local Rexall of a <b>Vasanti</b> prize pack. I was absolutely thrilled as I've wanted to try <b>Vasanti</b> products for a long time but hadn't purchased any yet so this was my first taste. Also see my <b><a href="http://www.cosmeticallycurious.ca/2012/01/when-in-rome-definitely-do-as-romans-do.html">Eyeshadow Duo</a></b>, <b><a href="http://www.cosmeticallycurious.ca/2012/01/im-going-on-trip-to-vasantis-north-sea.html">Lip Shine</a></b> & <b>Brighten Up!</b> posts.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Included in my package was this gorgeous bronzer. I will say that I'm not a huge bronzer person in the winter because I get so incredibly fair and it's really hard to find one that is light enough for me but I do love bronzer in the spring, summer and fall. Having said that, this bronzer is in fact a little dark for me at the moment but that doesn't change my opinion of the bronzer in general (I just need a little colour, it's so cloudy here all winter!).</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwQkI4nEfWkp0Xw9afXsaI7ThxztgU_XOxQFnhVsaWU7hOuf029Imxe7R2ERZgIfRUjr507KcHW03I0KQgesXQyFDNNBEGtDfTkRAypid7WeAl6b2AyJ4dGNjP833-Y6lFus_2qEUzZiZ6/s1600/VasB2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwQkI4nEfWkp0Xw9afXsaI7ThxztgU_XOxQFnhVsaWU7hOuf029Imxe7R2ERZgIfRUjr507KcHW03I0KQgesXQyFDNNBEGtDfTkRAypid7WeAl6b2AyJ4dGNjP833-Y6lFus_2qEUzZiZ6/s320/VasB2.jpg" width="239" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">The packaging of this bronzer is great. I love the large mirror and the really generous pan size. It also has gorgeous artwork (which is unique to each bronzer!) on the front and printing all through the inside. The magnetic closure is another big plus for me, it stays closed even in my incredibly over-stuffed makeup bag!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiArYgtdPAjB8zHXtGpgFjJLDKXFHJPdN1o78qntcHCHw04XA0-Gx9dUFcIgLzXM_kfMiHxnf2D_-2m7XuiuC2xNSumhd95HRbUC78xik_R913BIYpM34kugCc7vOnU48j9osl2WL4l9k6I/s1600/VasB3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiArYgtdPAjB8zHXtGpgFjJLDKXFHJPdN1o78qntcHCHw04XA0-Gx9dUFcIgLzXM_kfMiHxnf2D_-2m7XuiuC2xNSumhd95HRbUC78xik_R913BIYpM34kugCc7vOnU48j9osl2WL4l9k6I/s320/VasB3.jpg" width="239" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This bronzer has a great colour and finish. The colour is so natural when applied, not orange or red or pink, just a gorgeous believable bronze that would work on such a large variety of skin tones. It also gives a great sheen to the skin that isn't too shiny or glittery like some bronzers can be. I tend to steer towards matte bronzers for contouring but this one is great for adding extra healthy colour and a really natural glow to the cheeks.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmMqQ7KjmThMohKbQBqQNjViMQ2JchG9DRstc_bOwqJ83tKw6UKVOUFGuOi-0YIQ7qYsCci4S-EPEKcME9Int1Mmtj7h1uhgUE14Cc3hIg75AlXk3Q4Mb6klj9OBe1O4mywQkuvmxi4KJJ/s1600/VasB4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="258" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmMqQ7KjmThMohKbQBqQNjViMQ2JchG9DRstc_bOwqJ83tKw6UKVOUFGuOi-0YIQ7qYsCci4S-EPEKcME9Int1Mmtj7h1uhgUE14Cc3hIg75AlXk3Q4Mb6klj9OBe1O4mywQkuvmxi4KJJ/s320/VasB4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This is a saturated swatch applied with my finger so you can see the true colour and texture against skin. When blended out it is much more sheer. This really is a true "bronze", actually one of the most true bronzers I have ever come across and really does give you that amazing "Brazilian Glow" that we are all striving for (without the damaging real tan!). I know I'm going to absolutely love this in the summer but right now I'm just too darn pale. I can't wait to make this part of my routine so I can have a piece of my "Latin Lover" everyday!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This bronzer also contains nourishing and anti-aging benefits and is talc free. An added bonus to an already stellar bronzer.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

Good Morning!<br />
It's a super sunny day out here in western Canada but that always makes me forget just how cold it's going to be outside! In this cold weather and intense inside heat I feel like there's absolutely nothing out there that can heal and soothe my dry chapped lips. So I've been picking up every lip balm, butter, gloss I see in hopes that one will be able to handle my Canadian winter lips.<br />
<br />
In my search I obviously (as a beauty junky) picked up on one of these new <b>Maybelline Baby Lips </b>balms. As I'm sure most of you know these come in a variety of colours along with a couple different clear shades, I picked up on the unscented clear one so I could wear it all the time. Plus, any colour on my lips when they are chapped just makes them look more horrid than they already do!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiT3qftCqsiTsyFGwcrxdBO8oZrYJuw0BJukMIpnziN9iNjcJVOA-o3ckaY6oS7FPfa73lP7Q2W2yfGe7Dh8lUJd4Gg9M1PpnIpF2fD9OnDF1hkwyRbJeN2BUmBSWqf_ZZsWlciTIWOnDsV/s1600/baby2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiT3qftCqsiTsyFGwcrxdBO8oZrYJuw0BJukMIpnziN9iNjcJVOA-o3ckaY6oS7FPfa73lP7Q2W2yfGe7Dh8lUJd4Gg9M1PpnIpF2fD9OnDF1hkwyRbJeN2BUmBSWqf_ZZsWlciTIWOnDsV/s320/baby2.jpg" width="218" /></a></div><br />
I think the packaging of these balms is really cute with the chunky lettering and bright colours, although I find that the clear lid can pop off in my purse sometimes which makes me nervous. I generally keep it in my jacket pocket to avoid it becoming infested with crumbs or pennies from the bottom of my purse.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOysZPQnxGEKfee_a-z87gT8iU3IjvZS3166GrXr25T6OFuecLWJuOc_8s3AwqKVZDzv3Qoof_7Sx-e2lhP-MGvdoJPKsokWj7L_tcFRhyphenhyphenFYR9rrPaE7fMEILkGEC99r2k3e9ipOF6DXpb/s1600/Baby3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="230" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOysZPQnxGEKfee_a-z87gT8iU3IjvZS3166GrXr25T6OFuecLWJuOc_8s3AwqKVZDzv3Qoof_7Sx-e2lhP-MGvdoJPKsokWj7L_tcFRhyphenhyphenFYR9rrPaE7fMEILkGEC99r2k3e9ipOF6DXpb/s320/Baby3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
These balms have a fairly large, rounded applicator that is good for covering the entire lip area easily. There's a lot of product in the tube and at only around $4, they are a good value. <b>BUT</b>, I don't like the formulation. I'm not going to say these are a bad lip balm product and the coloured options are probably great for people who don't have severely chapped lips like me.<br />
<br />
Again, these aren't bad and they do provide hydration it just isn't enough for my super dry lips. I will probably find myself using these in the summer for lighter hydration and a hint of colour but for right now they just don't do enough for me. If you live in a warmer climate or only need a lighter hydration from you lip balm or even a balm to put under your lipstick I would recommend these but if you're suffering with chapped, peeling and chronically dry lips these aren't going to cure them.<br />
<br />
*Sigh* so my search for an ultra hydrating lip balm continues! So far my favourite lip balm of all time and the only one that can provide any relief for my chapped lips is <b><a href="http://www.cosmeticallycurious.ca/2010/11/korres-lip-butter-review.html">Korres Lip Butter in Guava</a> </b>(click to see my review). I've gone through 3 in the past year and they hold a lot of product! The reason i am still on the hunt is because the Korres ones come in a pot and I hate putting my finger in a pot when I'm out and about.<br />
<br />
<b><u>Summary</u></b><br />
<b>Maybelline Baby Lips - Clear</b><br />
<b>$3.98 CAD (roughly)</b><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This isn't like any other eye primer you may have encountered. Let's see why:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-5ZS1VDeYIiEhmtBi6DOqvLIauNZKhNwGThGpC1BgGHcj1iWGHBiVyfNSbQjFTQYmc2t8upSYq5Mt2AWIoQ6OwP76YwboohNtTJvEv_4vADVlR-uc09jV25Hl-kvxoVHLY7hXneEhacnv/s1600/Coverfxpump.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-5ZS1VDeYIiEhmtBi6DOqvLIauNZKhNwGThGpC1BgGHcj1iWGHBiVyfNSbQjFTQYmc2t8upSYq5Mt2AWIoQ6OwP76YwboohNtTJvEv_4vADVlR-uc09jV25Hl-kvxoVHLY7hXneEhacnv/s320/Coverfxpump.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">First, I was super happy to see that it was an airless pump instead of just a squeeze tube. I love airless pumps, I believe they are the best form of packaging to keep products stable and bacteria free. This dispenses the perfect amount of primer with one pump (I actually only use half a pump because I have a small eye area and it's more than enough for both eyes). </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Now, having used two of Cover FX's primers in the past, both the Clear Prep and Skin Prep, I expected a clear, silicon-y gel consistency but boy was I wrong!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWtcAl9s67f4AXRtr2uw53grLZDXuOYPLSlk1hs-7btlUljri6TVOwCuKq2IwfjuiUQhC2h3udZ_Mt03Din2-SAMfi_I90dH0sCKiqnmHfrdJmPh-7dd1_hstFCokAoxZeySur9djembBE/s1600/Coverfxswatch.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWtcAl9s67f4AXRtr2uw53grLZDXuOYPLSlk1hs-7btlUljri6TVOwCuKq2IwfjuiUQhC2h3udZ_Mt03Din2-SAMfi_I90dH0sCKiqnmHfrdJmPh-7dd1_hstFCokAoxZeySur9djembBE/s320/Coverfxswatch.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div>This is actually a super dense and ultra hydrating cream consistency! It is actually completely silicone free and has great ingredients like glycerine, squalene and sesame proteins for moisture. This eye primer/cream works on dark circles, puffiness and fine lines while increasing hydration. It does this using ingredients such as <i>Haloxyl</i> which according to Cover FX, "works to loosen blood fragments underneath the skin around they eye" which is exactly what dark circles are and <i>Eyeliss</i> which helps to treat puffy bags under the eyes. It is meant to smooth the eye area for application of concealer so your fine lines and puffiness are less noticable.<br />
<br />
Even though the package may state this is an eye <i>primer</i>, I find myself using this both day and night. It is literally the only product with enough hydration to calm my eczema and keep it from flaking and peeling. When I use this consistently my eczema actually doesn't even return!<br />
<br />
Overall, I don't think I'll be without this product again. I'm addicted to the hydration it provides and I love that it has anti-aging benefits as well. If you're someone who has fine lines, dark circles or puffiness and are looking for a great eye cream - this is it. If you're someone who is looking for extra hydration and smoothing to give prolonged concealer & foundation wear around your eyes - this is also it.<br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Hello Everyone!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Little bit of a later post this evening but I wanted to share a new find with you all! As I was trolling my local Wal-Mart (supposedly for cat food and people food) I just so happened to walk by the cosmetics department. Seems to happen every time, not sure why?</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">As I was innocently on my way to the cat food section, I saw out of the corner of my eye a bright orange display boasting dozens of these little babies. Of course I had to try this new mascara with its eerily similar look to Cover Girl's LashBlast and about $4 cheaper I was hoping for similar results!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b><u>What is it?</u></b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b><u><br />
</u></b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Rimmel's newest mascara is a plumping & volumizing formula for eyes that ScandalEYES. I'm all for any mascara that says it's going to plump and volumize my lashes. My lashes are already fairly long and curled (plus if they get any longer they hit my glasses) so volumizing formulas are my clear choice.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTX1I5cZ2X_mBzDc0b-YbctCERH4VDcREaWW-X0MNGQTFLGXk-bdFd2EyFkVmPNPdG_ZEg5rvR2L2rKu4xd_T82T-t2fqRpEmqeZIHtjUpOU-1LZzlgoKg2Eykot3A9DwqvU699GPCb_yb/s1600/Rimmel2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="139" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTX1I5cZ2X_mBzDc0b-YbctCERH4VDcREaWW-X0MNGQTFLGXk-bdFd2EyFkVmPNPdG_ZEg5rvR2L2rKu4xd_T82T-t2fqRpEmqeZIHtjUpOU-1LZzlgoKg2Eykot3A9DwqvU699GPCb_yb/s320/Rimmel2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">The first thing I noticed about this mascara is that the brush is absolutely <b>huge.</b> None of these photos do it justice but this thing is beyond big. When I put it up to my eye it practically engulfs all my lashes in one stroke! I thought LashBlast and Maybelline's Colossal had big brushes but this one puts those to shame!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizWzg9-t72RinYkV1LJCz_6uCa2zyBopTFnTxfqV6hiXNsxnWXlXNCFqcxhQPb3yqkvWcjRfwUqlD_ZQpSdHsOZsiXDMUfA-OJ_XICMZ-8ppJYYF_2ypR7kLAArG0takkKTezGHVyN1HCe/s1600/DSC02658.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizWzg9-t72RinYkV1LJCz_6uCa2zyBopTFnTxfqV6hiXNsxnWXlXNCFqcxhQPb3yqkvWcjRfwUqlD_ZQpSdHsOZsiXDMUfA-OJ_XICMZ-8ppJYYF_2ypR7kLAArG0takkKTezGHVyN1HCe/s320/DSC02658.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Here it is (orange) compared to Maybelline's Colassal Volume (yellow) and LashBlast Fusion brushes. It doesn't look as different in this photo but in person dwarfs both of these. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKth0GMGTP1oaaAkqJo1zY2zQsVzwi37y6XIEz1uhd85tnIT8f1_pgdaAnXC50MBK5U46wAMKLobWbW0lh-wBD9mGPMLZEQsJ0yorjugrI70igayI8IML1NIJ9FU9AYypDVUtFOlQELq6t/s1600/Rimmel5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKth0GMGTP1oaaAkqJo1zY2zQsVzwi37y6XIEz1uhd85tnIT8f1_pgdaAnXC50MBK5U46wAMKLobWbW0lh-wBD9mGPMLZEQsJ0yorjugrI70igayI8IML1NIJ9FU9AYypDVUtFOlQELq6t/s1600/Rimmel5.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">The results are great for this mascara, although it may not be as volumizing as I expected. It has great lengthening and curling power and comes in a <b>very </b>black, black (003) or an average black (001). I chose the blackest black as the tips of my lashes are very light. I do really like the effect this mascara gives (this is after 1 coat) my eyes look wider, my lashes look thicker and more defined. It wears well without flaking or smudging and to my surprise didn't even smudge on my glasses (big score if you wear glasses!). </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">At only $5.98 I would definitely give this mascara a try. It reminds me a lot of Revlon's Grow Luscious formula with a little more oomph. I think this will become a staple in my mascara wardrobe.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Firstly, I am so happy with the adorable (and thoughtful) wrapping! Everything is wrapped in bubble wrap as well as having protective stuffing so there is no chance of anything becoming damaged! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">When you sign up for the site you take a quiz to determine what types of polish colours would be right for you. Mine turned out to be "<i>American Girl</i>" which is a pretty accurate description of my nail polish style - fairly classic but sometimes out of the box!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0gR0CogS_2eQjZZCs1lSwrLw3_rmy_8nKmbJIQBlsSxjQmHHwEtJnznSxKB85Ds4_J_S0CDytDXa34vJs1HJMlfaA6_ftrwo3t44BAjoZ-4R3c2x5AbMuXTl-O-8TvxPclllKww1ILQFu/s1600/Julepdec4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="233" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0gR0CogS_2eQjZZCs1lSwrLw3_rmy_8nKmbJIQBlsSxjQmHHwEtJnznSxKB85Ds4_J_S0CDytDXa34vJs1HJMlfaA6_ftrwo3t44BAjoZ-4R3c2x5AbMuXTl-O-8TvxPclllKww1ILQFu/s320/Julepdec4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">The first item I pulled out of the box was this set of nail polish remover pads. What a great little thoughtful add-in! Who wouldn't want to immediately take off their existing nail polish to try their new shades? So these were a great find!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjnfkuu5zOP29w_tlGUBiYmtgNuM5NSUcrvJTx5HJSIjHVPaM_NbT1QLPmJCys6eT6ICVD1z7Dui9ITdBZib-i4rjaw6C2THGKfxJNkm74OwzqetA-XbCGJNiKnKTB_SSZ4h7xC6fNY-vX/s1600/DSC02624.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjnfkuu5zOP29w_tlGUBiYmtgNuM5NSUcrvJTx5HJSIjHVPaM_NbT1QLPmJCys6eT6ICVD1z7Dui9ITdBZib-i4rjaw6C2THGKfxJNkm74OwzqetA-XbCGJNiKnKTB_SSZ4h7xC6fNY-vX/s320/DSC02624.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I'll be honest, I was skeptical of these colours when I saw them on the site. I'm not usually a purple sort of gal (unless it's a super dark purple) but I decided, "Hey, what the heck! Let's try something new!" and I'm so glad I did! These are gorgeous shades, and even more gorgeous when applied! (Of course I got this box yesterday and my nails are already painted the bright purple haha) </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b><u>Shades:</u></b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Anne - "Ultra Saturated, Tropical Violet Creme"</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Maria - "Shimmering Platinum Rose"</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I can't do a full review of the polishes yet because I've only had "Anne" on for one day but I can tell you that they are exceptionally true to the colour in the bottle!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6Kc7OXdOM8fKDppCfP_GKiKW2HpZx-Cd9qzAU4iC8JfwPwsRvFpiwvfK4UUv-WII9Mr3TrOwV66ACgYO-io3yaIxjj7DdEf0XP1fm9s6B2JZ2ue9temQZgn0lpPwsaemLrTCiC_4mkK-W/s1600/Julepdec5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="254" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6Kc7OXdOM8fKDppCfP_GKiKW2HpZx-Cd9qzAU4iC8JfwPwsRvFpiwvfK4UUv-WII9Mr3TrOwV66ACgYO-io3yaIxjj7DdEf0XP1fm9s6B2JZ2ue9temQZgn0lpPwsaemLrTCiC_4mkK-W/s320/Julepdec5.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">The "extra" product in the December box was this <b>Pomegranate Body Scrub.</b> Not only does this smell amazing, it is super hydrating and contains tons of skin soothing oils! I'm going to keep this beside my skin and use it as a hand scrub to keep my hands soft and velvety!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">It's much creamier than most scrubs I've seen. Great for winter and keeping in the hydration while you exfoliate.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">As an added "Welcome" bonus I received <b>Julep's Nail Therapy.</b> I was <i>so </i>excited to find this in my box! I love nail treatments and this one can also be used as a base coat to keep your nails strong and hydrated while you're wearing nail colour!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Overall ladies, I couldn't be happier with my purchase! I got this box for only $0.01 and look at everything I got. Having seen this box, I won't mind paying the $19.99 per month because I honestly think it's completely worth it!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Afternoon Ladies,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I'm not sure how many of you will be familiar with the title of this post (Song: ELO - Shine a little Love) but I found it pretty fitting for this particular product review!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Up today is <b><a href="http://tartecosmetics.com/tarte-item-Amazonian-clay-illuminating-serum">Tarte's Smooth Operator Illuminating Serum</a></b>. Again, can you tell that I'm on an illumination kick? This product is honestly worth its weight in gold (sort of pun intended)! And shouldn't be overlooked as an amazing, light infusing primer.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I purchased this product a LONG time ago before it was available for sale individually (hence why it doesn't have the "Amazonian Clay" label on it) in a kit called <a href="http://www.cosmeticallycurious.ca/2010/12/tarte-radiant-rested-complexion-set.html"><b>Radiant & Rested Complexion Set</b></a>. It included the EmphasEYE's eyeliner inner rim brightener (flesh-toned peach), Mini Cheek Stain in Glisten, Mini Park Avenue Princess Mineral Bronzer, ReCreate Silicone Free Primer and this serum. It was a fantastic kit and I'm still so happy I purchased it!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Now that I've rambled, this product is a super lightweight highlighter without any really noticeable shimmer or glitter (everything I look for in a highlighter!). It comes in a <i style="font-weight: bold;">huge </i>tube (1.7 ouces) and a little goes a really long way. It is super versatile and lends a gorgeous "glow" to skin.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeZ_1Bebs0WYY1wQDH51zMub0RLAK0bwV91VNNV9P4elrlnUWH_qXruixyEr4BMFyDjY9ETAlPGEOdosaPBVaKIJUty9Ca3BSLTdZzes7fvVkox7Fwvu7wd3AnIQ_BRlCouEmJL5LPy8H4/s1600/tarte2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeZ_1Bebs0WYY1wQDH51zMub0RLAK0bwV91VNNV9P4elrlnUWH_qXruixyEr4BMFyDjY9ETAlPGEOdosaPBVaKIJUty9Ca3BSLTdZzes7fvVkox7Fwvu7wd3AnIQ_BRlCouEmJL5LPy8H4/s320/tarte2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Above you can see the product straight from the tube. (NOTE: Be sure to shake this before you use it as it has a tendency to separate in the tube.) It is a soft flesh-tone that becomes undetectable once applied to skin. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht3qMwr4HkV8XoryTD4P3aI27gqs4eRh5WpNCoWxaVFUGRego8g85oZreADdGMNn4V7cpiZJWeQ7kBB-HWXiq7PJ3mLugg_1PTtDXo_c8ZM6Damai59lzI4tjH4dGIAgkPMoTwlYPoaDtu/s1600/tarte3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht3qMwr4HkV8XoryTD4P3aI27gqs4eRh5WpNCoWxaVFUGRego8g85oZreADdGMNn4V7cpiZJWeQ7kBB-HWXiq7PJ3mLugg_1PTtDXo_c8ZM6Damai59lzI4tjH4dGIAgkPMoTwlYPoaDtu/s320/tarte3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This is my <i style="font-weight: bold;">favourite</i> photo! As you can see, you can't see the product unless the light of the flash is reflecting off it in a certain way. This ensures that skin doesn't look "all over shiny" but has a hint of glow when the light hits. You can also see that the shimmer particles are <i style="font-weight: bold;">so</i> small that they don't even look like shimmer when the light catches them.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Tarte's website doesn't state how you should use this serum, but to me that means the possibilities are endless! My favourite way to apply this is <i>over</i> my foundation on places I want to highlight - cheeks, bridge of nose, around my eyes and nasal-labial folds. Then I apply a little MAC Mineralize skin finish to set it and ensure I don't look greasy. Another great way to use this is as a primer. I often mix it with a moisturizer before I apply foundation and it still gives a great "lit from within" glow without the intense sheen. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Another great feature of this serum is that it is free from:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;">- Parabens</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;">- Sulfates</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;">- Synthetic Fragrances</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;">- Synthetic Dyes</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;">- Petrochemicals</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;">- Phthalates</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;">- GMOs</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;">- Triclosan</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;"><br />
</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;">And contains Amazonian clay, Camomille, Vitamin C, A & E and Hylauronic Acid! A beautiful glow <i>and </i>beautiful skin care ingredients? Sign me up!</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Overall, this is an <i style="font-weight: bold;">amazing</i> product and is well worth the money, especially for the amount you get and for the versatility of the product. I would highly, highly recommend this for anyone seeking a believable glow.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Hey gang! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Little bit of a late post this evening and it's a review of Stila's Illuminating Liquid foundation. I'm all about a little illumination lately - glow enhancing primers, dewy foundations, light reflecting concealers, blush, bronzer, powder you name it! So clearly, this foundation was to be a perfect fit in my ever growing wardrobe of dullness obliterating products, right?</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Wrong. I have to honestly say I was deeply saddened by almost everything about this product (sigh..) and with such a high price tag, I have to share what I've learned.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3DR8Ln2DLk9bFQXDF3U3T9y3SScigTZdToTyrAY0OcEwxHdZrIJb1tgW6i_Dj_kzlSJxNh1JFmuw6ibagXmRri1ljbPGlyHWT2sflZtuYk7Ps1tTh4A2Nw28BDp7JxYtp4E1re0JCxEb_/s1600/DSC02594.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3DR8Ln2DLk9bFQXDF3U3T9y3SScigTZdToTyrAY0OcEwxHdZrIJb1tgW6i_Dj_kzlSJxNh1JFmuw6ibagXmRri1ljbPGlyHWT2sflZtuYk7Ps1tTh4A2Nw28BDp7JxYtp4E1re0JCxEb_/s320/DSC02594.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Firstly, this foundation's shade range comes in wittily appointed amounts of wattage. Being pretty fair, I was the lightest shade - 10 watts. This is a great colour for me, neutral undertones, no orange overcast and no noticeable pink or yellow. I was initially happy with testing it out, the shades are great, the problem was I didn't test it on my face - but more on that later. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrYVjhN6P_2kxqkvJb5xddJ4Pu9xFa1j1MPzISL7EZNpkgzDUdOS7IaIfs8vDt6zZvUjGqWQ9shk_Ef_TskP_ndJCeY3pilJcyhHg4_eVuiUzNk8r3AfDuhpuw3JpSZlySg8DGzO3FO4w7/s1600/DSC02596.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrYVjhN6P_2kxqkvJb5xddJ4Pu9xFa1j1MPzISL7EZNpkgzDUdOS7IaIfs8vDt6zZvUjGqWQ9shk_Ef_TskP_ndJCeY3pilJcyhHg4_eVuiUzNk8r3AfDuhpuw3JpSZlySg8DGzO3FO4w7/s320/DSC02596.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Secondly, the pump is extremely cheap feeling and looking. Why top off a lovely glass bottle with a cheap "plastic-but-painted-a-metallic-silver-to-look-like-metal-and-it's-already-peeling-off-in-certian-places" pump? For $50.00 CAD I expect a LITTLE more...</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Anyway, moving on to what really matters, the formulation. I would have completely overlooked the tacky pump if the formula had been amazing or even relatively good for that matter.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHuk5nuVanJpmPV4_dpGt5vMSBTZ-65Axw9y19dEtpjL-jjL88SVtaw-FS915uONIi_A4JGqx65R7oE00RsxPSEqSzg87efBgu9l_X41zhdvMnuK5y84WHLhP4jPrcdCUvMWUyjfzlLKLr/s1600/DSC02598.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHuk5nuVanJpmPV4_dpGt5vMSBTZ-65Axw9y19dEtpjL-jjL88SVtaw-FS915uONIi_A4JGqx65R7oE00RsxPSEqSzg87efBgu9l_X41zhdvMnuK5y84WHLhP4jPrcdCUvMWUyjfzlLKLr/s320/DSC02598.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">The formulation starts out looking promising although it is much thicker than what I've come to know and expect from foundations labelled "liquid". I would class this as more of a cream foundation, especially since it's oil based. You'll see what I mean in the next photo.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh__wvxaNLpGlcSCIl2_BdZsojI-IuSzdG8vjmDD-JjZh0t9vcEnsX5zfm0OowMcOnL6aRway_jjUVZBlKlMxNjkc6aSaAPeDlwVwljX8MfNhLkr9TkpyACeI4BOJqykXpluvb1alGeqXo6/s1600/DSC02601.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh__wvxaNLpGlcSCIl2_BdZsojI-IuSzdG8vjmDD-JjZh0t9vcEnsX5zfm0OowMcOnL6aRway_jjUVZBlKlMxNjkc6aSaAPeDlwVwljX8MfNhLkr9TkpyACeI4BOJqykXpluvb1alGeqXo6/s320/DSC02601.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Also, when I select a foundation with "sheer to medium" coverage, I don't expect it to be so incredibly pigmented and hard to blend. This is the swatch just spread over my hand. As you can see you can't see any of my skin through it (although it isn't thoroughly blended.) I was surprised at this as I was looking for something sheer, and usually products labelled "illuminating" are just that. Again, this Illuminating foundation is making up rules of its own.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZeztV1HYXjJLyrmTbE7SyKyPfPc3hxnUEFyhgqQFaXKZcTJS0MxynUB59Jw524BI2fcn5RbobghBEsezeNp3-5x1nQGmGi7kLI9jtih2EV3r3MfaZ8JI3vzt8JJdF4oufpj1MNlgGk9fA/s1600/DSC02603.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZeztV1HYXjJLyrmTbE7SyKyPfPc3hxnUEFyhgqQFaXKZcTJS0MxynUB59Jw524BI2fcn5RbobghBEsezeNp3-5x1nQGmGi7kLI9jtih2EV3r3MfaZ8JI3vzt8JJdF4oufpj1MNlgGk9fA/s320/DSC02603.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This is the foundation after I blended the begeezus out of it with my fingers. It doesn't melt, sink into or blend with skin at all. The pigment in it is just so heavy it doesn't let it do any of those things. There also isn't much illumination in this product. It just feels thick and heavy on the skin even after I blended it off with a damp sponge to try to sheer it out. Not only that but I actually had someone comment about my "cakey" foundation that day. It had settled into every line and pore on my face (and I'm 23 I didn't think I even had lines!) and made me look old, dull and greasy.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I'm sad to say this product did nothing good for me. I probably won't be trying any more of Stila's foundations either at risk of the same thing happening. For the price I expected more, frankly I would have expected more out of a foundation that cost 1/5th of this. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Hey everyone,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Today I'm doing a review of <b><a href="http://www.consonantbody.com/products_en_1_1_0_3_0-Ultra-Firming-Organic-Eye-Cream.php">Consonant's Ultra Firming Organic Eye Cream. </a> </b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b><br />
</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I'm so excited to share this review with you, almost as excited as I was to receive this amazing product! As you may know, one of my New Years Resolutions is to go more natural (and organic) with my skin care routine - so this product is a "natural" fit. (Ha, that was a terrible pun but I had to!)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Consonant Ultra Firming Organic Eye Cream is an amazing mixture of butters, oils and organic extracts formulated to firm, moisturize and reduce fine lines, wrinkles and dark circles. Now, being 23 I don't have a lot of need for a "firming" eye cream but I do believe in good preventative skin care and am always looking for an amazing eye moisturizer - as I have extremely dry skin around my eyes. This eye cream includes some amazing moisturizers like shea butter, vitamin E and many, MANY different oils.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b><u>REVIEW</u></b> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This eye cream works amazingly for me! It gives me fantastic moisture around my eyes that doesn't dissipate during the day (even hours later I can feel the hydration around my eyes!). My eyes also look brighter, more rested and my dark circles are less noticeable. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This cream also has some other things going for it. First, it comes in an airless pump - in my opinion the BEST kind of packaging to keep ingredients stable and dispense the right amount every time. It is also an all natural and organic way to look after your delicate eye area and can be used all the way up to the lash line because it is so gentle. The smell is also great - the only way I can describe it is "real". It smells like natural ingredients that haven't been tampered with or masked by any synthetic fragrance. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qeXdn5TMq2I/TwYb1SIMxOI/AAAAAAAAAsU/c7zM-9eOouw/s1600/Consonanteyeswatch.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qeXdn5TMq2I/TwYb1SIMxOI/AAAAAAAAAsU/c7zM-9eOouw/s320/Consonanteyeswatch.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This cream is ultra rich but sinks into the skin in seconds, resulting in a great base for eye make-up or eye primers. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I have to say, it's no wonder this cream won Chatelaine's Canadian Star Product award last year. It's an outstanding eye cream, all natural and organic and delivers results. What more could you ask for? </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b><u>Summary</u></b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b><u><br />
</u></b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b>Consonant Ultra Firming Organic Eye Cream</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b>$36.00 CAD</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b>Available at: <a href="http://www.consonantbody.com/products_en_1_1_0_3_0-Ultra-Firming-Organic-Eye-Cream.php">Consonant</a> & <a href="http://www.theshoppingchannel.com/Consonant/Eye-Treatments/Consonant-Ultra-Firming-Organic-Eye-Cream/pages/productdetails?nav=R:434237">The Shopping Channel</a></b></div><script>

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Hello my fellow bloggers and blog readers! I'm a little late with this posting but hey, better late than never. I'm not a big believer in New Years Resolutions as I tend to break them and that doesn't do good things for my self-esteem so my solution is just not to make them haha (not sure which is worse?). But, having said that I've decided to make a few small ones that I know I can probably stick to in the new year! So, without further a-due, here they are: </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b>1. Develop a more natural skin care routine</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">The past few weeks I have been reading a lot about what we put on our skin and how it affects the rest of our body. We don't really think about it because mostly, we tend to believe that what we put on our skin stays on our skin, but that isn't the case. Everything we put on our skin gets absorbed into our bodies. Therefore, I've decided to incorporate more natural and organic products into my skin care routine. I like using natural products and own quite a few so this won't be too hard or too much of a change. I just want to be more conscious of it. I will do an updated skincare review in the coming month.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b>2. Blog more consistently</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I love blogging, I don't know why I don't do it on a more regular basis. It's not because of lack of time or lack of interest, I just don't do it. It could be because I hate taking the photos for it because they always end up making me frustrated - lighting, exposure, shaky hands... you name it haha. I'm going to force myself to do more this year and incorporate Face of the Days and product reviews as well as giveaways and fun stuff!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><b>3. Sticking with my skin care routine</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">If you read my bad beauty habits post, you know I'm terrible for washing my face at night. That means I'm also terrible for using my treatment products! This year I resolve to wash my face every night (mostly) and use my treatment products in order to see the results I want!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Okay, lets limit this to 3 resolutions, that seems overwhelming already! haha I feel like I can at least have some hope of sticking to these (at least for the short term) and hope I can continue them all year!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Do you have any New Years Resolutions? Let me know in the Comments!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
